Care Guide
Stainless steel is a durable and resistant material, but to maintain the characteristic shine and impeccable appearance of Georg Jensen pieces, follow these simple recommendations:
Daily cleaning
— Clean the item with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove fingerprints or residue.
— For a deeper clean, wash with warm water and mild detergent, then dry immediately with a soft cloth.
Maintaining shine
— Occasionally use a product specifically designed for stainless steel, applying it with gentle, circular motions.
Avoid harsh polishes, steel wool, or abrasive products that could scratch the surface.
Precautions during use
— Avoid prolonged contact with acidic foods or substances (such as lemon, vinegar, or salt), as they can leave marks if not cleaned quickly.
Do not use sharp objects directly on stainless steel surfaces.
Storage
Store the items in a dry place, away from excessive moisture.
— For tableware or barware, make sure it is completely dry before storing.
Machine wash (if applicable)
Some stainless steel items are dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong their lifespan.
— If using a washing machine, avoid very hot cycles and remove the items as soon as the cycle is finished to prevent water stains.
Avoid damage
Do not leave the parts submerged for an extended period.
— Avoid drops and impacts, especially on pieces with sculptural designs or delicate details.
