The Long Road to Perfection
Each Niessing Colette is born from a meticulous artisanal process. It takes 1.5 kg of gold, the expertise of three goldsmiths, and a full day's work to produce 3,000 meters of the iconic Niessing Coil. This result is achieved through the traditional metal drawing technique, a craft mastered at the Niessing manufacture.
The gold or platinum wire is repeatedly passed through increasingly finer dies, acquiring a delicate shine thanks to the diamond tools used in the finishing process. To ensure the comfort and perfect shape of the Niessing Coil, each wire is worked until it achieves a rigorously round profile.
Once the process is complete, the wire is precisely wound around a transparent nylon core, which intensifies the piece's shine from within. Finally, each bracelet receives a carefully hand-polished sphere, the final detail that reflects the dedication, precision, and savoir-faire that define Niessing.
