Description
Hold a bottle of Champagne at an angle of approximately 20 degrees and slide the blunt side of the Indulgence saber along the body of the bottle towards the neck. When the blade hits the edge, the force shatters the glass and separates the collar and cork from the bottle neck. That's how you celebrate a special occasion and open a bottle!
An experienced sommelier can open the bottle with minimal loss of Champagne. However, we advise letting a small stream out to wash away any loose glass fragments that may be stuck to the neck. The first glass served should also be checked for small glass shards.
The Indulgence champagne saber is made of mirror-polished stainless steel. The blade is completely blunt; it is the impact of the saber that opens the bottle, not the sharpening.
NOTE: Keep the saber and decapitated bottles away from children and animals. Please handle the bottles and fragments with utmost care, and never drink directly from a bottle opened with a saber.
