Swedish Prince Sigvard Bernadotte designed his first product with Georg Jensen in 1931: a milk jug in the finest sterling silver, inspired by the functionalist movement of the time.
Its original design has been given a new twist in stainless steel, and the result is a classic Georg Jensen: instantly recognizable and timeless in its appearance.
The Bernadotte milk jug is inspired by Sigvard Bernadotte's original designs and is expertly crafted from stainless steel. It has been hand-polished to ensure a flawless finish.
Steel doesn't exist in its original form, but is a metal alloy made primarily from iron. All stainless steel products are polished by hand, a time-consuming process performed only by the most skilled artisans.
